Grandmaster Kim has been a practitioner of Taekwondo for over 37 years and has been teaching the art for over 27 years. He is a 7th degree black belt and has helped many students attain the level of Master as well. He graduated from Junbuk University in Korea with a major in Taekwondo. He has won several championships in Korea. He is a member of the World Taekwondo Federation and the Korean Taekwondo Association. He is certified as a Korean National Taekwondo Referee and an International Taekwondo Referee. Listed below are just a few more of Grandmaster Kim’s accomplishments.

  • Korean National and State Champion from 1987 to 1989
  • Best Competitor of the Year at State and National Competition from 1987 to 1989
  • Certified 7th degree black belt from the World Taekwondo Headquarters the Kukkiwon in South Korea
  • Grandmaster Kim opened his 1st school in Korea in 1990
  • Master Instructor for the American Airbase in South Korea in 1991
  • Professor at Gunsan College for Taekwondo Instructors in 1995
  • Head Master at U.S. Taekwondo Center in Washington in 1999
  • Head Master at U.S. Taekwondo Center in Los Angeles, California 2000
  • Opened his 1st Taekwondo Center in the United States in Draper, Utah in 2001
  • Currently operating 2 schools in Sandy, Utah and Lehi, Utah
